We recently had 33 solar panels installed on our roof. These panels feed into the existing system and also power our two electric cars: Even on a partly cloudy day, the panels cover the usage of our house during the day and any electric charging the cars require, which isn't much. Any extra electricity we generate this time of year we get credit for to offset our costs come gloomy winter. Pretty cool. Interesting how the word "cool" still works after fifty years of exposure.

Yep, "..........that lucky ol' sun ain't got nothing to do but shine on those panels all day.........." AND then the invisible, electrical energy runs down the wires to the panel, through a circuit breaker, to a fridge, lowers the temperature of the liquid in a bottle/can? NOW your talking COOL brother!
